No. Never. At least wait until the materials have been delivered and then give a deposit to the company.
Should I Show my Insurance Paperwork to the Roofing Company?
Yes. Always. They are going to use that insurance estimate to; try and get you more money, get any damaged items covered that are not on the estimate and explain the complicated report to you making it easier to understand.
Should I File an Insurance Claim?
It is always best to have the damage looked at by a professional before filing an insurance claim.
Will My Insurance Rates Go Up When I File an Insurance Claim?
If the claim is not related to a storm, your insurance rates will increase. If the damage is related to a storm or an act of nature the entire area's insurance rates will go up whether you file a claim or not.
